How does ElevationTM help me with composition?
If you like to sing/play melody and harmony lines before converting them to paper, ElevationTM provides a simple interface to quickly record, review your recording, save or delete the last take, and move on. If you record an idea you want to build on, ElevationTM allows you to quickly begin layering audio (harmony) on top of the main recording. Once again, you can save or discard the new file easily. You don’t need to be a recording engineer. ElevationTM is designed so musicians can maintain a steady workflow when practicing or composing music. If you work with a notation program such as Sibelius or Finale, simply drag and drop the notation file into the File Info screen for your ElevationTM recording and the two files will be linked. The next time you listen to your recorded demos in ElevationTM, simply click Open in the Linked File field of the File Info screen and your transcription will launch in your notation program.
