How does electrolysis differ from laser?
Removing hair by electrolysis is a slow process; one hair at a time. The operator inserts a needle (probe) to the bottom of a hair follicle, then heats and cauterizes the hair root with a small amount of electrical current. The hair is then lifted out with tweezers. Electrolysis can be an excellent technique for the removal of small numbers of hairs, from areas where it is difficult to use the laser (under the eyebrows, near the eyes, and in the ears and nose.) and white and very pale blonde hair which does not absorb laser light efficiently.
