How does ekey protect my biometric data from being stolen?
During the enrolment process the minutiae points are defined and a mathematical value is assigned to them. Those values are then encrypted by the system. The fingerprint itself is discarded from the computer’s memory and only the fingerprint template is stored in the database. Of great importance is the fact that the encrypted information is useless without the corresponding biometric data of a living human being. Therefore it cannot be used for unauthorized access and your fingerprint is not at risk.
