If an employee receives pay from federally sponsored projects from both UC campus locations, after the fact certification is required at each campus. Effort reports should be certified at each location considering the certification to be 100% time at that campus. [Please note that LBL does not have an Effort Reporting System. However, LBL requires monthly effort certification for employees funded from the Lab via the on-line Laboratory Employee Time System (LETS).] If the employee contributes effort on a federal contract or grant at the visiting campus, but the home campus pays the employee (visiting campus is reimbursing home campus for work performed), the effort report issued by the home campus is used to certify effort at both campuses.
