How does ECAR treated water taste?
A blind taste test with 7 people showed that ECAR treated water was indistinguishable from both California tap water and untreated synthetic Bangladesh groundwater containing no iron. We expect the taste to be preferable to real groundwater, which often contains high levels naturally occurring iron. Taste testers were also unable to distinguish between treated water using alum to decrease treatment time and treated water using no alum.
