How does EarthLink Accelerator caching work?
EarthLink Accelerator follows the same generally-accepted rules for caching content that are used by modern Web browsers. For example, EarthLink Accelerator applies the caching rules supplied in the instructions of Web page elements. However, when there are no specific instructions embedded in the Web page (as is often the case), EarthLink Accelerator applies a set of heuristic rules based on the type of content and its time-stamp in order to determine whether or not a particular item is cachable.
