How does E-Mail paging work?
Each alphanumeric paging customer has the option (at no charge) to choose an alias @ paging-plus.com to which emails can be sent. Acceptance of e-mail aliases by Paging Plus are subject to availability. Paging plus reserves the right to reject any alias which it feels may be objectionable to others, or discriminatory in nature. This e-mail address is forwarded via the internet to our server, which checks for validity, converts the data into a format compatible to the pager, and sends up to 250 characters (or less, depending on the capacity of the receiving pager) to the pager. Our server can also forward a copy with any attachments to another e-mail address for later review. There is a nominal charge of $1.
