The horoscopes you read in the newspaper are not adequately reflective of traditional static astrology, although they may be likened to poetry; poems not being a complete reflection of literature generally. Dynamic astrology challenges some of the ideas of sun sign astrology, primarily the fact that your natal sun will change signs some time before your thirtieth birthday. This is not, as a rule, a popular notion among sun sign astrologers. Newspaper sun sign columns were begun in 1930. Astro-journalism is criticised by skeptics and counter-advocates of astrology, but it is an easy target and many astrologers agree with the skeptics.
