How does Drachen handle requests for information?
Drachen welcomes questions that can be answered by a search of its archive, but, as a non-profit, it does need to cover the costs of responding to requests for information. Research and reproduction of materials is billed at $20 per hour, with a minimum charge of $20 for each request (save money by including more than one item with each request). The cost of photocopies, prints, or slides is added to the charge for research. In all cases, Drachen will make an estimate of the charges, for approval before the work is done. Payment must be made before materials are shipped: Drachen accepts check, money order, MasterCard, and Visa. Requests can be made by mail, phone, e-mail, or fax (see contact information for addresses/numbers), and can usually be processed within a week.
