Dr. Akerman subscribes to the latest industry journals to keep current on research and development in the dental industry. She invites experts in the field to come and provide personal instruction to our staff, devotes significant amounts of time to continuing education studies, and belongs to local dental associations that provide peer consultation and review of difficult cases. Dr. Akerman also ensures that our staff pursues ongoing studies in our areas of expertise, so that as a team and as individuals, we’re familiar with the latest techniques and materials available.
