How does divine magic work?
Each faith grants a number of powers to its priests and shrines. The power of these abilities is tied to the amount of devotional energy power the shrines are given; the power of a priest is tied to the power of his shrine. These powers include invoked abilities and ongoing blessings, and are specific to each faith. The leader of each faith, known as the Hierophant, also gains access to specific Hierophant powers.
