Ok up above close but no cigar . In your body when you begin digesting . The 3 molecules lipids , carbohydrates and proteins enter the small intestine after being cleaved by enzymes through the digestive tract . carbs are broken down to monomers glucose lactose and fructose . Regardless of what they enter as your body will convert them to glucose (the bodies usable source of energy ) The body than decides wether to use them at that time or store them ( this can only be stored as glycogen in the liver and muscles) If there is too much glucose it can be converted to build fatty acid chains and store as fat. Proteins enter as a,omp acids and are normally used for building special proteins , enzymes muscles and other functiosn however if they are not needed or energy is needed the body can remove the nitrogen containing amino group, get rid of the ammonia produced(urine) and make ketones (used for energy ).
