China is one of the fastest developing markets within DHL’s global network and plays a key role in DHL s Asia Pacific and global operations. DHL will continue to invest in China to strengthen our market-leading position and to meet increasing demands of the market. DHL manages an industry-leading direct sales force with approximately 1,000 sales representatives to provide high levels of customer service and express transportation solutions to our customers in China. At the same time, we recognize that many of our customers, especially multinational corporations or foreign companies, require a “Trade Lane Expert” who has in-depth knowledge and extensive experience in the trade lanes that customers are most focused on.
