How does crime compare between China and Brazil?
Violent crime, including gun violence, gangs, and drug related crimes are much higher in Brazil than China. China has a very low crime rate, especially violent crimes, as guns are virtually unavailable, and drug use is not prevalent in Chinese society. Criminals are also dealt with very harshly in China, which deters further crimes from taking place. However, petty theft can be a problem in both areas.
