How Does Crash Snarl Traffic On Nj Turnpike Accident?
ELIZABETH, N.J. – All lanes are open on the New jersey Turnpike after a Wednesday morning crash caused a 20-mile backup. The northbound truck lanes were closed from 6:45 a.m. to about 9:08 a.m. near Interchange 13 in Elizabeth because of a crash involving several vehicles. State police had to close the road while they investigated what happened. Details still remain sketchy. Turnpike Authority spokesman Joe Orlando says one person was critically injured. Orlando says delays spilled over to the Garden State Parkway and other highways and local roads. NJ Transit trains honored bus passes. Orlando says he’s never seen anything like it in recent years. http://www.philly.com/philly/wires/ap/news/state/new_jersey/20090930_ap_crashsnarlstrafficonnjturnpike.html ————– NJ Turnpike Reopens Multi-Vehicle Crash In Linden All northbound lanes of the New J
