How does CoSign integrate with existing solutions such as Document Management (DM) and Content Management Systems (ECM) etc?
CoSign offers an “out of the box” digital signature solution for major applications such as Microsoft Word and other major applications such as Corel WordPerfect and Adobe Acrobat. CoSign offers a simple Signature API (SAPI) which ensures quick and convenient integration with 3rd parties or self-developed applications. CoSign can work with any DM, ECM, workflow, or similar system by working “side-by-side” and signing at the applications level – checking the document out, signing it through the application (e.g., Word signing), and checking the signed document back in. If closer integration is required (e.g., the ability to sign a document without opening the application, or a user indication on how many signatures each file has) then integration with CoSign through SAPI is required.
