How does corrective eye surgery work?
First, your eye is temporarily paralyzed. The clear, skin like film on your eye is ‘cut’ and peeled back, allowing access to your retina. A laser reshapes your retina to correct your vision. The flap is replaced and will naturally heal back your eye. You wear protective ‘glasses’ while you sleep for a week, while the flap heals back to your eye. Surgery is painless and only actually takes 45-60 seconds per eye, after set-up and all that.
