How does copy protection work on the floppy diskette version of Finale 98?
A. This will work essentially the same as for the CD ROM. Finale 98 requires that you insert your original Finale 98 Master Key floppy diskette periodically for verification. This Key Floppy Disk is required for the installation and the initial launch of Finale 98, and only occasionally after that. The longer you use Finale, the fewer times it will ask for the original Key Floppy Disk. If you don’t have your original Key Floppy Disk when Finale asks for it, you’ll still be able to launch the application three times before it will require the Key Floppy Disk to run.
