How does cooltown fit into HPs E-Services vision?
cooltown represents that vision, and gives HP customers the ability to experience HP’s mobility paradigm. Appliance computing will be a natural and integral part of the Internet and the Web. We see web appliances of all kinds personal, mobile and embedded as the way that e-services will be connected to people and businesses in the physical world. Context awareness and deep personalization will make E-Services far more relevant than is possible with today’s web services. The combination of appliances, always-on infrastructure and e-services comprise an extremely powerful force that is transforming the world, and HP is uniquely capable of delivering solutions at the intersection of all three vectors.
