The high tech polyester fabric is designed to absorb or ‘wick’ moisture away from your skin to the outer surface where it dries quickly. The fabric must be in contact with your skin to wick the sweat away. If you have long hair between your skin and the fabric of pillowcase or nightclothes it will not work be able to work. Body hair may also form a barrier and reduce the effectiveness of the wicking action.
