How does ContextProfile work?
We allocate 20% of the budget to run across our 386+ categories for one week. This is important because it allows us to view which categories and pages an advertiser’s products perform best against. After the campaign is run against the exchange during the first week, the system works on the fly to reallocate a targeted 60% of the campaign to the unique ContextProfile that has been created for the campaign. The remaining 20% of the impressions continue to serve run of exchange ads as the system attempts to test new publishers that are being added to our exchange and new dynamic content that changes daily.
