How does CompEraser protect employee information that we deem to be private and confidential?
CompEraser was designed from the get-go to provide privacy protection. First, you totally control access privileges. You can permit internal users to access only a portion of the records. For example, let’s say you want your plant manager in Facility A to access claim information for his or her location but do not want to permit access to other facilities. You can easily design these limited access privileges. Second, CompEraser has been carefully designed to protect privacy information in accordance with HIPPA and similar laws. By limiting privacy features for a given user they will only see permitted employee information and will be precluded from viewing privacy information. Third, CompEraser has been carefully designed to comply with OSHA’s privacy regulations. If an injury falls within OSHA’s privacy guidelines the employees name and other protected information will not appear on any OSHA’s reports.
