How does colored concrete compare to other products?
A. Concrete is more durable than brick pavers and stonework. Maintenance is also minimized, as there will be no settling or weed problems. Pricing between concrete and other options is comparable. Decorative concrete lasts much longer and is more cost efficient to maintain than natural stone or brick pavers. Q. What supplemental supplies are offered/recommended? A. For outdoor application of a monolithic colored slab, we recommend LITHOCHROME® Colorwax™ for optimum color match. For indoors, we recommend COLORCURE® Concrete Sealer. For stamp work, we recommend a SCOFIELD® Cureseal–S™, a high-gloss sealer. Cureseal–S™ is also available in a matte finish. In any case, a sealer should be applied every other year to keep the color and texture looking new. We also recommend using an anti–slip additive in conjunction with any sealer. Q.
