How does Clarity Breathwork relate to Rebirthing?
Clarity Breathwork has evolved out of the work done for many years in the International Rebirthing community. Many of the basic approaches that we employ grew out of this work. For many years we trained and certified rebirthers and worked in that modality. We are grateful for the dedication and courage of all of the pioneers in this groundbreaking field. We have been using the term Clarity Breathwork for several years to describe our current work. This is also a way of honoring many of the new techniques that we bring to this work. We feel that the term Rebirthing is restrictive, as it can limit one’s perception to only think of birth. It also enables us to be very clear that the practitioners that we train and certify are not exclusively identified as rebirthers. The term ‘Rebirthing’ was also associated with a case in Colorado where ‘rebirthing’ was used to describe a process that has no relation to the kind of work that we do.
