How does CIAT support students?
CIAT offers all students on approved courses aiming to become Chartered Architectural Technologists and Architectural Technicians free student membership. This means that you will get your own copy of Architectural Technology magazine and the student newsletter, Architype, as well as being able to attend regional events etc. Currently we also offer an upgrade package for students upgrading their membership within six months of graduating, where the upgrade fee is waived and the annual subscription is reduced by 50%. CIAT also recognises the achievement of its top Honours degree students at CIAT Accredited universities. The CIAT Award for Outstanding Achievement was launched in 2005 and is presented to the student who graduates with the highest overall result from the CIAT Accredited Architectural Technology Honours degree at each CIAT Accredited university. They are presented with a personal cheque for £50 and a certificate of achievement by CIAT. Additionally, CIAT has a Student Award
