How does Child Wise prevent child abuse?
Child Wise combines direct support, counseling, advocacy, education, training, capacity building and research to provide a comprehensive and specialised child protection response. All Child Wise’s programs work across the continuum of prevention, protection and recovery. They are child-focused and informed by a fundamental belief that children have a right to physical and psychological safety – and that individuals, communities and governments have both the capacity and responsibility to protect children. We believe this multi-faceted approach is the most effective way to have real impact upon the complex (supply and demand) factors that perpetuate the cycle of abuse.
