How does checkout work?
A closing assembly will be held Thursday, July 22 — the last day of the Workshops — to recognize students who did outstanding work during the week. Scholarships of up to $500 will be presented by the UI School of Journalism and Mass Communication to select students interested in pursuing a major in journalism at Iowa. Family and friends may join the students for lunch immediately following the ceremony. Students may check-out of the dorm after the ceremony, beginning at 11:45 a.m. and must be done by 2 p.m.
