The Provider Registry System is managed by the Ministry of Health Services and publishes basic practitioner information provided by colleges and associations. CHARD is managed by HealthLink BC and extends this basic PRS information with additional details specifically for the purposes of referrals. CHARD then provides access to the practitioner information as well as services information through a specialized search engine.
