How does cervical decompression work?
The cervical power source is contained within the table. A cervical accessory drops into place on the cervical assembly/face slot. The patient then lies supine, with the self-adjusting neck wedges cradling the occiput. The wedges are adjusted laterally and the head strap is secured to hold the patient’s head and neck in proper position. Decompression therapy is applied as the cervical assembly moves. Set-up is quick and easy since no ropes or pulleys are required. The angle of the cervical assembly can be adjusted from -20 to 30 degrees to accommodate every patient’s needs. Most decompression tables on the market don’t even offer cervical decompression!
