How does censorship relate to animated films?

Basically violence, bad language, mature themes and all other points like that are considered in any type of film and this is no different for animation. If a film is extremely violent and has loads of swearing the rating will probably be at least a 15. Animated or not, it still shows the same thing. If, however, there is no violence and no bad language the film would be a U or PG. If the rating would only be a 12 without one part they censor that part (either remove it or change it a bit) so it can remain a 12, otherwise the rating would go up to a 15.
