How does CCAfrica promote ecotourism?
The CCAfrica Foundation is a non-profit organisation that acts as a catalyst for integrating the development of rural communities neighbouring CCAfrica lodges. The aim is to develop local communities, maintain biodiversity and sustain the viability of ecotourism. Projects include building classrooms and libraries, clinics and computer centres. The CCAfrica Foundation empowers small businesses through providing capital and training. CCAfrica lodges offer employment opportunities to local communities. The local people are often our landlords, who benefit from our rent. CCAfrica guests are welcome to visit current projects in neighbouring communities.
