How does cardiovascular endurance improve the condition of the blood vessels and lungs?
It maintains a a better blood flow so that the blood cells circulate better. This is essential for blood vessels as the circulation can ‘eliminate’ any irregularities (disease, dead cells, fat build up, etc.) by pumping it quicker to where these “waste products” may be expelled from the circulation so that they don’t build up and cause problem. Also a better circulation ensures better oxygen circulation in the blood, as the lungs are used to “inject” oxygen into the blood and extract carbon dioxide from the blood. It doesn’t “improve” on the condition per-say, but it does improve the productivity of the lung’s functions. Anything beyond this complexitiy starts to become University (or as they say in America, college) level medical science which I’m sure you’re not overly interested in.
