How does Carb DynamX work?
Carb DynamX is specifically formulated to moderate two major pathways involved in utilization of carbohydrates: 1. Carb DynamX includes over a gram of glucomannan, a fiber that forms a thick gel in the lower gut. This slows the release of sugar into the blood ¨C in effect reducing the glycemic response and insulin spike normally associated with carbohydrate intake.1-4 This moderation of blood sugar prevents excesses that may spill over to bodyfat (see figure 3).5 2. Banaba leaf, racemic ALA, chromium, and biotin are compounds well known for their ability to optimize insulin function.6-10 That is, they assist or mimic the hormone insulin in transporting glucose (from carbohydrates) into cells (like muscle cells). By supporting a healthy blood sugar balance, Carb DynamX helps to prevent sharp spikes in insulin. Excess insulin is a risk factor in the development of Syndrome X (including obesity, in particular).11 By moderating insulin, Carb DynamX supports healthy body composition. Figure
