How does CAPCCAT utilize saved data?
There are two types of information that CAPCCAT can store: 1) Inventory Search Resutls; and 2) Schedule Determinations for Substances with CASRNS. • Inventory Search Results An inventory search will search for the presence of the CASRN on any regulatory inventory or in any regulatory risk management measures. The presence or absence of the CASRN in each of these is indicated to the user in a tabular format, and if desired, can be saved. If the results are saved then the user can perform 2 further activities. They can choose to enable the “Autoupdate” function. The user also has the option of returning to CAPCCAT and conducting another search using the saved CASRN or based on the date the search was conducted.
