How does Business Link Rewards auction bidding system work?
Business Link Rewards uses an automatic bidding system to make bidding on auctions more convenient for members. There is no set-up required. Here’s how bidding on Business Link Rewards works: • When placing a bid, enter the maximum amount you’re willing to pay for the item. Other bidders won’t know your maximum bid amount. • Business Link Rewards places bids on your behalf starting with the next bid increment of 100 Bonus Credits. We’ll bid enough for you to remain the highest bidder, and keep bidding until your maximum amount is reached. • If you enter a maximum bid that’s the same as another member’s maximum bid, the member who entered first will retain the highest bid at the end of the auction. You won’t necessarily pay the amount of your maximum bid. We’ll increase the bid on your behalf, using only what’s needed to maintain the high bid position. Your bid is kept confidential (until it’s exceeded by another bidder).
