The vast majority of what Brain Types/Typing (BT) does, especially in sports, is not competitive to other similar professions, including sports psychology. The fact that both JN and sports psychologists work in sports and that they both attempt to help athletes perform better gives them similarity (along with team coaches, too). On the other hand, JN and BT go to a much different level than any sports psychologists of which we are aware. JN speaks of individual and specific motor skills with EACH sports client he has. This is JN’s principle focus, to help athletes understand how their individual and inborn motor skills affect every dimension of their athletic performance. On the other hand, JN has never met a sports psychologist who has this emphasis—unless he’s already been trained by JN and embraces BT.
