How does BSCoE compliance affect the software development procurement process?

0

BSCoE’s administrative authority is given by ITB APP001. Compliance with this ITB is required for all IT service engagements. Compliance with this ITB involves two things: First, offerors must utilize one of two application development methodologies: either the BSCoE Software Engineering Process (SEP) or the Rational Unified Process (RUP). Additionally, offerors must agree to include software or asset reuse planning within the scope of the project. BSCoE should be contacted as soon as the project charter is in place for projects approved through the Community of Practice process.
