How does BrowseControl manage Internet permissions – by User or PC?

BrowseControl is able to function in two modes, Computer based and User based. In the Computer mode, the BrowseControl client settings are applied to each computer in the network. Alternatively, User mode allows control over each user on the network independent of the computer being used. All functions and settings are available for both the Computer based mode and User based mode. When using User mode, select Tools –>Import Users to import all users in the Active Directory so they are visible in the Console.
