How does billing for the Monthly Edition work?

The invoice for the Monthly Edition contains two parts: the $55 recurring fee which covers the first month of use for one server instance, and fees for additional server/AddOn instances and Transcoder channels used the prior month. Fees for additional server instances and all fees for AddOn instances are billed in arrears on the next month’s invoice. We count all instances/channels that use the license for any purpose. All prices are in US$ and do not include sales, VAT or any other applicable taxes.
