How does BGE’s Limited Income Energy Efficiency program work?
All you have to do is call BGE’s Smart Energy Savers Program℠ Call Center at 1-800-845-6195 and speak to a Customer Service Representative. They will verify your home type, your status as a MEAP or EUSP recipient, and your home ownership. If your eligibility is verified, your Customer Service Representative will set an appointment for your comprehensive home energy audit. The audit will determine which improvements your home is eligible for. If you approve the installation of those recommended improvements, they will be installed at no additional charge to you.
