How does BGE support Electricity Supplier Consolidated Bill Ready billing?
BGE does not use EDI to support the Electricity Supplier Consolidated Bill Reading billing option. However, electricity suppliers do have the option of sending remittance to BGE via check or an 820 transaction. Should the electricity supplier opt for the 820 approach, BGE will require the electricity supplier to send an example 820 transaction as part of the Billing certification test.
