How does BGE handle 814HU-Historical Usage during electricity supplier testing?
• Interval accounts: For an Historical Usage (HU) request on an interval account, the response will be accepted with a status of “SNP”. This informs the electricity supplier that the historical interval data is available on the web. • Non-Interval accounts: For an HU request on a non-interval account, the response will be accepted and the HU will be provided via an 867HU. Here is a recap of the issue: • All EDI secondary service for HU requests are communicated via an 814E. • BGE processes 814Es based on “Last-In.” • Currently BGE accepts HU requests only if a customer relationship has been established (i.e., successful enrollment). • As a result, HU requests sent after an enrollment (on the same day) will be date/time stamped as later than the enrollment. This results in the HU being processed as Last-In prior to the actual customer enrollment transaction. Therefore,
