How does Beaver honor outstanding student-athletes?
The athletic department honors student-athletes in many ways: Athletic Accolades Several times during each season, Athletic Accolades are awarded to students for their outstanding contribution to their team’s success. Decided the athletic department and coaches, this recognition is based on many factors including, but not limited to, skills, leadership, and sportsmanship. Accolade winners are announced an all-school meeting, have their pictures posted in the Athletic Center during that season, and have a brief write-up about their accomplishments on the Beaver website. Beaver Senior Awards The Clarise Wightman Palmer Cup is the highest athletic award for girls. The award is given to the senior girl who has demonstrated the highest skill level in interscholastic competition.
