How does BCP handle change management & reporting?
All changes to every cell for both data and business logic (formulas), by all users including other enterprise applications, is automatically captured as new incremental version such that only the changes are captured. These changes are captured in the BCP Server which relies on a relational database for storage. You can run all kinds of change reports on the data through Excel or directly (through interface tables) into any reporting application which leverages data in a relational database. Changes can be previewed & analyzed in the BCP Browser or the most recent changes are called out in Excel for the cells that have been updated.
