How does bankruptcy dismissal affect credit and score compared to discharge?

0

Hi ttedwards, There is not much difference between bankruptcy dismissal, and bankruptcy discharge in regards to your credit score. When you file for bankruptcy, it is entered on your credit report. This will remain on your credit report for 7-10 years just as a bankruptcy discharge. The only difference is that the discharge will be reported as bankruptcy discharge, and the dismissal as bankruptcy dismissal.
