I am of the belief that what we choose to put into our bodies on a daily basis, whether it’s a big cheeseburger or a salad, will have an impact on us for the rest of our lives. Food affects our mood, energy, self-esteem, and even our relationships. Because as a society, we have gotten so far away from a diet of whole, unprocessed fruits and vegetables, the results have been disastrous to the health of our nation and our youth.
