How does Azusa Pacific University and Mexico Outreach stay informed?
Security council headed by directors of International Center and Study Abroad program daily monitor and assess safety in countries with APU students and staff. Mexico Outreach has a staff member who stays in contact with American/Mexican consulates, borders, and government officials on both sides of the border. He also checks for daily updates on travel warnings announcements on the U.S. Department of States and Mexico government’s Internet websites among other places.
