The Azelaic Acid in Skinoren Cream Benign starts its work by attacking the growth of the keratin skin cells that block pores. This effect in turn clears the path for sebum outflow and leads to reduction in formation of blackheads and spots. Propionebacterium acnes, the bacteria that causes acne is also killed by Azelaic Acid as the acid removes their main food source, i.e. sebum.
