Auto Settings for Shark Modem To use this feature it involves the following steps: Note: Always be aware of the status of the Shark Modem application via your Shark Modem Proxy desktop application (info tab) Scenario: If you are currently connected to the Internet with the Shark Modem the status of the desktop app (info tab) will show Status : Connected. To switch back to your regular Internet application exit/escape out of the Shark Modem BlackBerry application on your BlackBerry. The status on the Desktop proxy (info tab) should say “Shark Modem is not running on handheld”. If you connect to the internet you will now be connected to your regular connection. Note: In order for the auto option to work the BlackBerry must remain plugged in via usb or bluetooth connection. Once the BlackBerry is completely unplugged you will have to manually change the proxy settings.
