How does AstraZeneca make contribution funding decisions?
Contributions are evaluated against an initial set of factors that include available funding resources, the scope of the project being funded, its impact on patient health, and its alignment to our patient health priorities. While we support general health initiatives, we believe we can make the biggest impact by focusing our efforts in areas in which we have the greatest expertise including, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, gastrointestinal disorders, infectious disease, mental illness, and respiratory illness.
